Let us think for a moment if they had altered this movie just enough to turn it into a PG or GASP a G rated film. It's those kids under 13 that are aching for all those Transformers toys! Those kids want to see Transformers too especially our kids. You see we are those odd ball kind of parents that won't let our kids watch those PG-13 movies until they are...wait for it...wait for it...13! Oh sure they may sneak around and see it at a friends house but that's not really the point. The point is that our money the money that would have been spent for tickets for our entire family will not go to this movie.

Oh sure the reviews were terrible! I mean down right "what is the point of this film!?" sort of reviews but we would have gone to see it. The rating is there for a reason. Many parents that I have spoken to were disappointed by some of the scenes. They said they just didn't seem necessary and had no relevance to the film.

Meanwhile our children sit on the waiting list to see the film. While they wait until their 13th birthday which is many years away, I just wonder how many millions of dollars this film could have made with a little bit more editing. Hmmm???
