Scale Reading -
Step aboard my magical scale. Let me tell you what happened this week. I stepped on it and it showed a 1 pound loss. I tapped it over to the left because I didn't believe it! It gave me an 8 pound loss. WT? Back to the right I tapped it because there is NO way I lost 8 pounds. It gave me a four pound gain. Back to the left and there is a 3 pound loss. Even though I have no idea what the real number is none of them were close to last weeks number. There is a loss but I don't know how much. Blasted scale!!!!

**Update**
Thanks to jennydecki for fixing my scale problem. She left this comment - Can you put a hand weight on it and see if it's accurate? I did and it worked so now I will always have accuracy no matter how the leveling works out in my house. On that note I have a 4 lb. loss!!! NICE.

Stress Level -

Super high this week. We are still waiting on the funds from my hubs new job to kick in. That's all I want to say about that. You can use your imagination as to what it would be like not to have any sort of income for over a month with bills due. Just saying. - I didn't food journal this week at all. I didn't watch my water intake at all. I tend to lose my focus under high levels of stress. Also I have a highly agitated relationship with a family member. Most of the time we stay on our sides of the universe but every now and then a situation occurs and it's hard to keep a lid on my emotions. That's all I can say about that. So now that I have to hold everything inside and wait for all these storms to blow over you can imagine how much I would like to eat my way through a gallon of ice cream or bag of candy bars or something. I don't do it though. I just make sure I get a work out in so I have an outlet.

The UP side -

I'm all signed up for Saturday! Glad Keith and Liz will be there too. Nothing like exercising with friends.
"Friends Helping Friends 5K/10K-Kids K | Houston, Texas 77058 | Saturday, August 14, 2010 @ 6:30 AM" ( http://bit.ly/c8hwxU ) I'm starting to get in 2 a day work outs on some days. I'm not trying to be an over achiever I just like to visit with my good friend Karen. She has knee problems so our work outs consist of walking, swimming or weight training. I don't get to see her often so we get to exercise and catch up at the same time. It's a win win.

I'm looking forward to reading how the rest of my "sistas" did this week.
And this is a little inspiration for all of this week!

I'm always hunting workout music which you will find in my DJ Booth at Blip.fm. You can search the #mamavation hashtag or #workouttunes to see my lists. If you have any music suggestions leave them in the comment section!
