#Mamavation Monday - 1st of The New Year

Mamavation
A year in review of fitness with the Mamavation sistahood. Here is what I have learned about me. I'm fantastic at setting a goal and lining it all up. I love a good fitness challenge! Working out (for me) works better when I'm working out with other people. I adore my friends at "The Y" and crossfit training is still new to me but I thrive in that environment. I have the ability to follow routines and remain consistent but also make room for those days when it's just not going to happen because I'm a Mom and as you know, kids happen. The best change that I have made this year is a vitamin regimen. I have seen visible changes and I feel better.

Having online support is crucial to my goals. I'm not always around adults but this group of women I'm working out with online understand the distractions, the struggles, and also the exhilaration of being able to accomplish a fitness challenge. Keeping up each week can be a challenge but I remain committed to the women that I visit and who come to visit me each week. I do plan to make more of an effort to make it to the tv program. I'm going to continue to find new information to share with you and do my best to keep us all motivated and inspired. Now raise your water bottle and drink to that! On to business....

My Work Outs -
Monday - Friday = out sick or with sick husband or sick kids
Saturday = Killer work out at the Y thanks to Theo and Keith. Geez! I wanted to hurl.
Sunday = We have a new pup and with that comes 3 walks a day! I'm getting a lot of walking time in.
I'm starting out the new year injury free!

Scale Reading - Starting the year off at 179. This is the last time I'm going to see that number.

Measurements - I'm going to do this once a month. Not that much changes for me from week to week without some serious crossfit training. I plan to visit Shaun tomorrow. Whoot!

Stress Level - Everyone was sick for two weeks. That's all that needs to be said.

The UP side - I'm running a 5K this Saturday.

A bit of inspiration for you ladies!

What are ways you can work out without having to leave the house?

Our family owns the Wii. We have the EA Sports Active 1 & 2, The Biggest Loser and Wii Fit. We can get a good workout using any of those games. We also use Netflix and I can rent any kind of workout dvd that I like! Right now I'm going round and round with Jillian Michaels in the 30 Day Shred. There are also online fitness programs you can do as well. If you look at my side bar you can my 100/200/200 challenge! There are lots of ways to workout without having to leave the house!
