Sex and The City: Movie Review

"Sex and the City" fans rejoice! Carrie Bradshaw and her girls Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda are back, and this time, they're coming to the big screen with this highly anticipated adaptation of the HBO comedy series. Golden Globe winner Sarah Jessica Parker returns as everyone's favorite columnist who, with her three BFFs (Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon), braves the roiling romantic waters of the city that never sleeps. - Netflix

There was so much hype around this movie and yes I have been a fan of the series but the movie wasn't all that great. It was almost like the writers had a beginning and ending but flailed like a fish out of water in the middle. The movie just left me thinking what happened? There was such an emotional build up and it just dragged on and on and then it was over as fast as the quickie in the shoe closet! It was so disappointing. However, there are so many fans that will have to see the movie regardless if it is good or bad. We have to know, right? Charlotte and her scene in Mexico is HILARIOUS! I could not stop laughing. It was worth it just to see that one scene. I thought they really toned down Samantha's part in the movie. Miranda, geez that is just sad. If you are fan of the series you will end up watching the film. If you've seen the film did it leave you puzzled?
