HERRICANE SILLY - Chemist or Chef?

 My husband was cleaning off his desk which inspired me to do the same. The children were all hanging out watching a movie. Then I heard it, the sound of our bedroom door shutting. I knew it couldn't be good and it had to be that girl up to no good, again! Sure enough, I opened the door and this is what I found. Our bedroom floor covered in sugar.

This evening someone left the pepper out on the counter. As I was in the laundry room this is what she did with the pepper. When I came in the kitchen she was hiding under the kitchen table. Good lord this girl moves fast! And there goes all our pepper, literally down the drain. Do they make a chemistry set for preschoolers? They should!

HERRICANE SILLY aka The Stealth Bomb! & The Pumpkin Pie

"Soapy, soapy, soapy!" she said. I turned around after responding to an email thinking she had gotten into the hand soap. No she had not gotten into the hand soap. There were big piles of this all over the floor. I opened up the fridge to find....

that she had gotten into the entire pumpkin pie! It had been in the freezer and my son had the oven on last night so I asked him to bake it. The pie went into the fridge to chill and look what she did to it! But wait, that's not all.....

she colored the television! But wait, that's not all....

she fed or colored or whatever this is to her Minnie Mouse! But wait folks, that's not all....

she spread it all over both sides of the couch. But wait there's more... I don't have any more photos but it was all over the floor and in the carpet. She did this in a matter of minutes. Never once did I hear her open or close the refrigerator. Clearly she was running back and forth having a great time. Lucky for me I was able to clean all of this up! It's taken about an hour but it's done. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

HERRICANE SILLY - Strikes Again!

 It's Spring Break. A time when all children should be on vacation away from home having a good time. If you are one of the unlucky ones that has to keep your kids at home, like myself, you have my apologies. We were suppose to be gone but due to a series of unfortunate events I'm here with three kids that need constant entertainment. What is with the photo of the shattered glass you ask? That would compliments of the 2 year old. She gifted me with this task first thing this morning.

She was sitting in the hallway upstairs with her feet dangling off. She apparently kicked the globe back and forth so hard that it finally hit the wall and shattered. Awesome! Oh well, it needed to be replaced any way. How many more days left?

HERRICANE SILLY - Strikes Again!

She is way too big for this car seat but she likes to hang out in it and put her babies in and buckle them up. She found my phone and decided to call her "Nah Nah." She was having an important conversation. No big deal right? I went back to my desk to hunt for some papers. The she popped up out of the seat and said "I go potty!" I'm thinking...this is progress and off she went. She was taking a little too long and I went to check on her. 

You could smell that minty freshness from several feet away. She wasn't going potty, this is what she was REALLY doing. I'm not sure if she thought it was finger paint time or what? It's great to do crafts and stuff with your kids but some times they can't seem to decipher the difference between the art supplies and say....a tube of toothpaste!

Don't let this cute face fool you! She'll be back and ready to strike again at a moments notice. Until next time...stay tuned for further destruction from HERRICANE SILLY.

HERRICANE SILLY - Strikes Again!

We are in the midst of potty training! STILL. She has it all down but just refuses to let it go. If you have suggestions please let me know. I've charted her "movements" and she doesn't seem to have a pattern yet. It's different every day. We use diapers at night and pull ups training pants on school days. When she is at home it's big girl undies. Today she got into her package of pull ups and decided to make a bed out of them. Seriously?

HERRICANE SILLY

Herricane Silly has landed once again here in Texas. Today there was loud thundering sounds coming from the storage cabinet. There must have been some really high winds too. When I approached the scene I found the destruction that Hurricane Silly had done. Her gust of wind was strong enough to blow all of my bubbled mailers out of the storage cabinet and on to the floor. She isn't sleeping on the pile only resting. Don't let her fool you! The clean up will be manageable this time. Next time who know! Stay tuned for the next episode of Herricane Silly.

Priscilly Update

Our baby girl is now a whole 10 months old. She brings such joy to our home. Sounds corny but this baby girl is always happy. She has a smile on her face all the time. She's a cruiser that is for sure and she pulls herself up.


She is such a playful baby. Her little hands are waving back and forth and her feet too. She had just finished up lunch here. I started her on a sippy cup today. She kept squashing the bottle into her face. I have no idea what that was about. I just thought it might be a sign that she was up for something more challenging and I was right. She took to it right away.


She talks up a storm too! We have no idea what she is saying but she really gets into it and shakes her head yes and then no. It's really funny! Today at the grocery store she was riding in the shopping cart and she kept moving her head as if she were listening to Come on Feel The Noise by Quiet Riot. Then she hit it on the bar and it left a nice big circle right in the middle of her head.


You can kind of see in this photo that she is really tall. Her legs just keep going and going. She is wearing 18-24 month clothing. That's just crazy! Her hair is really starting to grow in now too. She's just the best and we really are blessed to have her here with us. The boys love her and she is a Daddy's girl all the way. She has three males in her life at her beck and call. rofl.....it's going to be a fun ride.
